One tap changes the tide
Two waves move towards a pearl at different speeds. Swap their speeds while they travel and try to bring them together over the pearl.
Endless
Build a score and grow your reef until three tides drift past.
Daily tide
Play the same eight-round challenge for the day and try it again whenever you like.
Calm
Play without lives or a forced ending. Finish the reef when it feels complete.
Your timing grows the reef
A closer meeting creates stronger coral growth. Complete three-tide phrases for reef centrepieces and discover living residents, from silver fish to a whale. Keep recent reefs on your iPhone, pin your favourites and share a detailed reef image when you choose.
Explore Living Ocean 2.0
Read six tide behaviours, from Steady to Storm surge, while keeping the same simple Swap control. Each new run starts at Voyage level 1. As you progress, unlock ten living environments beyond the Tidal Observatory, including the Sunlit Coral Atrium, The Drowned Library and Astral Ocean.
Earned environments stay yours when you start again. Each brings its own scenery, movement and ocean ambience, without changing the scoring rules. Preview the worlds from Living Environments on Home, then choose an environment you own.
Play your way
Step mode offers an untimed route through a Calm tide. Sound, music, haptics and gentler visual movement can all be adjusted in Settings.
The complete game works offline. It has no adverts, in-app purchases, subscriptions, account, tracking or analytics.
