About these terms
These terms apply when you use Pane Planner for iPhone, iPad or Mac. Pane Planner is provided by RGT Software Ltd. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and only where it is suitable for your work.
What Pane Planner is for
Pane Planner helps you organise window-cleaning rounds, customer details, due dates, visit records, proof photos and documents. It is a planning and record-keeping tool. It does not replace your judgement, customer agreement, safety checks, bookkeeping, tax records or professional advice.
Your Pane Planner records
You are responsible for checking the information you enter, import, change and export. This includes customer details, prices, visit outcomes, due dates, route order, notes, photos, invoices and other documents.
Keep a suitable backup or export when a record is important to your business. Do not rely on Pane Planner as the only copy of information that you are legally required to keep.
Customer information and privacy
You decide what customer information to keep in Pane Planner. You must have a lawful reason to collect, use, retain and share it, and you must meet the data-protection and privacy rules that apply to your work, including UK GDPR where it applies.
You are responsible for answering requests from your customers about information you control. RGT Software Ltd cannot see records stored only on your device or in your private iCloud account. RGT Software Ltd remains responsible for information it receives directly, such as support emails.
Proof photos
Only add a proof photo when you have the right to keep it and it is suitable for the visit record. Check what can be seen in the image before saving or sharing it. You are responsible for any notice, permission or consent your work requires.
Route suggestions and Apple Maps
Pane Planner can use Apple Maps services to locate addresses, suggest a customer order and open directions when you request those actions. A suggestion may not reflect traffic, parking, access times, road restrictions, safety or local knowledge. Check the route before you apply it or travel.
PDFs, CSV files and customer messages
Check every PDF, CSV file and message before you save or send it. You are responsible for the recipient, the accuracy of the information and whether you are allowed to share it. Once a file or message leaves Pane Planner, the chosen destination or recipient controls that copy.
No payment or accounting service
Pane Planner can place prices and payment instructions you enter on an invoice PDF. It does not take payments, collect card details, move money, chase debts, provide accounting services or guarantee that an invoice will be paid.
Pane Planner Pro
Pane Planner Pro adds the features shown in the app, including larger active customer and round capacity, proof photos, saved filters, document choices, PDF creation and CSV exports.
Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles purchase, renewal, cancellation and refunds under your Apple Account. One Pane Planner Pro subscription can unlock the app on iPhone, iPad and Mac when they use the same Apple Account. You do not need a separate subscription for each device.
Starter limits
Starter supports one active round and up to 30 active customers. If you reach a limit, existing records remain readable. You may archive records, reduce active work or choose Pro. Feature availability can change in a later app version, but current options are shown before purchase.
Private iCloud sync
Private iCloud sync is optional and uses Apple services. It needs a suitable Apple Account, supported devices, an internet connection and sync turned on in Pane Planner on each device. RGT Software Ltd does not promise that Apple services will always be available or that every change will arrive immediately.
If Pane Planner reports a conflict, check both choices before deciding which copy to keep. Do not make the same change on several offline devices if you can avoid it.
Deleting data
Pane Planner provides separate choices to delete data from one device or to permanently delete Pane Planner data from private iCloud and connected devices. The second choice requires an internet connection, a typed confirmation and time for connected devices to receive the deletion.
Read the warning before continuing. Exported files, messages, copies held by recipients and backups managed by Apple are separate. Deleting records inside Pane Planner does not automatically delete those copies.
Availability and changes
Pane Planner depends on a compatible Apple device, the App Store and, for some actions, Apple Maps, iCloud, Photos or sharing services. RGT Software Ltd may update the app to improve reliability, compatibility, security, features or legal compliance. A service outside our control may be unavailable or may change.
Using the app responsibly
Do not use Pane Planner to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, store harmful or unlawful material, interfere with the app or try to bypass purchase controls. You may use the app for your own work subject to these terms and the App Store rules.
Liability and your legal rights
Use Pane Planner with reasonable checks suitable for your business. To the extent the law allows, RGT Software Ltd is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information you enter, a route or document you do not check, a third-party service, a recipient you choose, or failing to keep a suitable backup.
Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
