About this information

Gardening Job Planner: Rounds is provided by RGT Software Ltd. This page explains what information the app uses, where it is kept and the choices you have.

Information you add

Your records can include customer contact details, garden addresses, access and safety notes, planned work, visit notes, time records, photos, payment records and business details used on documents.

Only add information you need and have permission to keep. Take particular care with gate codes, photographs and information about other people.

Information saved on your device

The app saves garden records and selected visit photos on your device. It also keeps recovery copies to help protect saved work. Hiding a customer keeps their records; it is not permanent deletion.

Optional private iCloud sync

Private iCloud sync is off until you turn it on in Settings. After you turn it on, the app uses your Apple Account to keep supported records and photos up to date automatically on your other devices. You do not need to choose Check now (troubleshooting) for normal updates.

Your work is saved on your device first. If iCloud is unavailable, your work stays on the device and the app tries again automatically.

If the app finds different changes on two devices, it leaves the work on your device unchanged and asks you to choose which version to keep. If your Apple Account changes, the app stops private iCloud sync before changing any records.

Choosing Turn off private iCloud sync stops future iCloud checks and keeps the work on your device. It does not delete your records. Use the permanent deletion controls if you want to remove information.

Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy practices. RGT Software Ltd does not operate a separate cloud account for this app and does not receive your garden records through private iCloud sync.

Advertising and tracking

The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics tools. It is not designed to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Maps, messages and documents

When you choose to open a garden in Apple Maps, the destination is passed to Apple Maps. When you share a document or open a prepared message in another app, the information you choose is passed to that destination. Check the content and recipient first.

Purchases

Apple handles App Store purchases. The app checks your purchase information to decide which features you can use. Do not send payment-card details to RGT Software Ltd.

Removing one customer's information

Open a customer and choose Permanent deletion to review these choices:

  • Keep customer leaves the records unchanged.
  • Delete Customer removes their garden details, schedules, visits, notes, photos and other non-financial records. Issued invoices, credit notes and payment history remain, including the customer details recorded on them.
  • Delete Customer and Financial records also removes the customer's issued invoices, credit notes and payment history.

Removing all app records

Open Settings and choose Delete all app records to remove all customers, gardens, schedules, visits, notes, photos, invoices, credit notes, payment history and business details.

The app keeps previously used document numbers and small reminders needed to finish deletion. These do not contain customer details.

What permanent deletion does

Permanent deletion also removes the affected information from the app's recovery copies. If you have used iCloud, deletion there remains pending until the app can connect. Copies in a different Apple Account that you used before remain pending until you reconnect to that account.

The app keeps a small record of which items were deleted. This helps prevent an older copy from bringing them back.

If you may need the information again, keep a separate backup before continuing. You are responsible for following local laws on keeping and using customer information. Deletion cannot be undone within the app. Copies you previously saved or shared, and device backups managed by Apple, are not deleted by this action.

Keeping a separate backup

With a subscription, choose Make a backup first from the deletion review. You can include visit photos and choose where to save the file. Saving a backup does not delete anything. Return to the review and check your choice afterwards.

A backup file contains personal information and may include access instructions and photographs. Keep it somewhere you trust and restrict who can open it. A separate backup is not the same as keeping devices up to date through iCloud. An older backup does not override the app's record of permanent deletions.

Copies you save or share outside the app are separate from your garden records. Remove those copies from their saved locations when you no longer need them. Contact support before deleting the app if you need help recovering or keeping records.
